How RocketOn Technology LLC handles account, study, AI, advertising and website information in newlycitizen.

RocketOn Technology LLC operates newlycitizen, a civics study service for adults aged 18 and older. This policy covers our app, website and related services. Contact support@newlycitizen.com with privacy questions.
The app is in development. Some features described below may be unavailable in your build; PRO subscriptions are not currently sold.
Account and study information
Google or Apple sign-in provides an account identifier and profile information, such as your name and email. Apple may provide a private relay email. We keep your profile, account identifiers and sign-in sessions, which can include IP addresses and device or browser information.
We save study settings, questions, quiz answers, review history, tutor conversations and practice results to provide features, sync progress and manage usage. Settings can include your test bank, study mode, state or district, voice and optional interview date. Guest setup stays in app memory until you sign in and choose to save it. Preferences, sign-in state and downloaded resources also use device storage.
Optional location
You can enter a state, ZIP code or street address to find public officeholders. ZIP lookups stay on our server; address lookups send the address to the U.S. Census Bureau, including for guests. We do not request GPS access or write entered addresses or ZIP codes to application logs.
Signed-in accounts can save the location with study settings; you can remove it in Settings. Guest results stay in session memory unless you sign in and save the setup.
AI tutor and practice answers
We share tutor messages, recent conversation history and relevant study context with third-party AI service providers for answers, conversation titles and safety checks. Study context includes your test bank, study mode, state or district and public officeholders.
We also use third-party AI services to grade typed practice answers and, where enabled, transcribe and grade submitted recordings. Recording requires a separate acknowledgement and microphone permission. We do not retain your answer recordings in our own storage; we do retain transcripts and feedback as described below.
We do not attach saved street addresses, ZIP codes or interview dates to AI requests. Information you include in submitted messages or recordings can still be shared. Do not submit immigration documents, A-numbers, USCIS receipt numbers or other sensitive case information.
Our answer and grading provider's terms exclude using prompts and responses to improve its products. Other providers' terms may differ. Providers can retain information for safety, security or legal purposes; we do not promise zero provider retention.
Optional notifications
We use your chosen times, timezone, preferences, device push address and delivery information for study questions and reminders. Third-party notification delivery services receive the routing information and public question or neutral reminder needed for delivery. Notifications exclude your name, email, address, interview date, results and conversations.
Change either notification choice or enable Hide study text in Settings. Text may appear on your lock screen. Delivery and timing are not guaranteed. Changes made offline or while a notification is already being processed may not stop delivery, including after sign-out or account deletion.
Ads and purchases
Where available, Google AdMob serves nonpersonalized ads and manages applicable consent choices. We do not send account or study information for ad targeting or request access to the iOS or Android advertising ID. Google can still receive IP/general location, ad interactions, diagnostics and other device identifiers, and may link activity across apps or sites under its privacy policy.
Ad privacy choices appear in Settings where required. Declining consent or an unavailable ad leaves ordinary study usable. Ad frequency controls use device storage. Optional rewards create account-linked verification, usage and support records.
When purchases become available, Apple processes payments and RevenueCat verifies subscription status using an account identifier and transaction/device information. We do not receive card details or send RevenueCat profile, location or study content as customer attributes. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. We keep purchase, access, usage and recovery records to provide access, reconcile charges and prevent purchase reassignment.
Website, hosting and support
The website saves your theme preference on your device. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, referring sites, country-level location, browser and device types, and page performance. This service does not use cookies or local storage for analytics, fingerprint visitors, or track people across websites. The website does not serve ads. Browser Do Not Track signals do not change our data handling.
Third-party hosting, delivery and database services store account and study data and operate the service. They also process connection and operational information for security, reliability and delivery. We keep information you send to support. Use private email for account, privacy or billing questions.

Our database recovery history covers six hours. Deletion does not immediately erase recovery copies or information held by other providers; this window is not a deadline for erasing every copy.
Your choices and privacy requests
Settings lets you edit profile and study settings, remove location or an interview date, delete tutor conversations, export retained account data and delete your account. Apple-linked deletion may require a fresh sign-in. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete server records. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription; use Apple subscriptions to cancel.
Email us if you cannot access your account or need privacy help. We may verify account ownership before handling an account request. We explain retention exceptions and follow applicable response deadlines.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or transfer data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Conditions and exceptions apply.
Security, processing locations and changes
We operate from the United States; providers may process information in other countries under their applicable service terms and data protection arrangements. We use access controls and security safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security. An unlocked shared phone can expose account information. External services have their own privacy practices.
We will date policy updates and provide any additional notice or choice required for material changes.
