About newlycitizen
newlycitizen is an independent iPhone app for the civics part of the U.S. citizenship test.
What it does
The app helps adults learn the civics questions with flash cards, daily reviews, quizzes and practice interviews. It covers the 2025 and 2008 tests.
Where the answers come from
The questions and answers come from the public USCIS lists, and we don’t reword them. Each answer shows its test, its question number and the date we last checked it. Some answers depend on who holds office, so we track those and mark them.
What it doesn’t do
newlycitizen doesn’t teach English reading and writing or prepare you for questions about your Form N-400. It can’t decide your eligibility, give legal advice or guarantee that you pass. For your own case, follow what USCIS tells you on uscis.gov, or talk to an immigration attorney or a representative accredited by the Department of Justice.
Who runs it
RocketOn Technology LLC operates newlycitizen from California, United States. We’re not part of USCIS or any government agency. You can reach us at support@newlycitizen.com.
